Rico, I can say with 99.99% confidence that when AOL rolls out DSL this summer @home will get a well deserved @ss kicking. I would have signed up for @home a long time ago if it were available in my area, but they lagged, and have lost their chance. Can anyone explain to me why @home would ignore one of the single largest markets for their product for so long (San Francisco)? And, for every 1 person saying that cable is "so wonderful" there are 10 others stating that its not all that great, and continues to get slower as more people are using the pipes. Granted ATT can provide huge amounts of cash for upgrades, but what is @home going to do when the pipes max out at 2,3,4 million users?

I feel like the prospects for AOL get better every day, and am not worried whatsoever that we will come out on top. @home will fall off the face of the earth along with AMZN in about 3 years.

I would appreciate comments (from anyone), and please correct me if I am mistaken on any statements. Rico, would you like to admit you were wrong about your broadband comments yet?
