GV - Re: "No, he didn't. 102 in July '97 to 119 now, or split adjusted, 51 to 59 and change. Intel has been a poor performer for almost two years now"

Now there you go again - using the WRONG INFORMATION - and cherry picking the WRONG INFORMATION to suit your agenda.

Intel reached $102 (non-split adjusted) BRIEFLY for A FEW HOURS in August 1997 - so WHY CHOOSE THAT DAMN PRICE as the basis for your asinine comparison?

Why didn't you choose the LOWEST PRICE for Intel in 1997?

Wouldn't fit your agenda - would it?

In May of 1997, Intel was trading at $40 - split adjusted - and at TODAY's PRICE of $61 5/16, Intel is UP 53% from its level TWO YEARS AGO ! .

That's UP about 26% per year and that's PRETTY DAMN GOOD - no matter what cock-n-bull-shit number you pull out of your derriere.
