Lucent has become the pacesetter for all of high tech. Best R&D: Quite simply, every other company's R&D efforts pale next to Lucent's. WHAT?! Don't these guys get it? Lucent couldn't innovate its way out of a wet paper bag, for chrissakes! What have they invented lately?! Boy, Red Herring really dropped the ball on this one. Big time.
