Can you guarantee that it will be faster than cable once cable is upgraded No, but when are they going to upgrade the cable? They are SOO slow in getting into new markets already, much less making the existing lines better. And as for AOLs bid on UMG, AOL has stated that they are taking all cable opportunities into consideration. UMG was just one of them. Could have even been a headfake to make all of those people complaining about AOLs lack of cable shut up for a while.
