I think it has to be Lattice as the most logical.

This way they would finally get a broad product line and decent size to give Altera/Xilinx a run for their money.

An Actl/Vantis/Lattice combo would have sales of around $600M and should be quite profitable.

The big problem of course is taking 3 disparate groups and melding them into one cohesive lean mean machine.

In this market size does matter and so does having a broad product line, so a combined operation would make sense and you could easily then have a combined valuation of $3Bn or 2x the current valuations of the 3 companies.
