Presence, there will always be spammers in a public forum. You'll notice nobody responded to him. Had he given his own personal reasons for a possible dcb than others may have paid more attention. I've often commented on how I appreciate Rande's attempt at governing this thread. Perhaps your impression is that he is trying to dictate the subject matter of postings here... my impression is that he monitors the thread for the purpose of retaining its readers.

Honestly Presence, if there were exchanges like that of yours and Wayne's on a regular basis, I wouldn't be reading this thread, and I think Rande realizes that. No, I did not find your 'argument' with Wayne to be informative. The only thing I learned is that you have some sort of source whom gives you information on trading, but for some unforeseen reason, you feel the need to be discreet about his or her existence.

In the past, I have discussed my disagreements with Rande about the direction of certain securities and when they should be purchased (PLCO). I will voice my opinion to the contrary of what Rande's advising when I feel the need to... although I consider myself to be far more ignorant than Rande with respect to trading, I am not intimidated by him and have always felt welcome to sharing my opinions. I'm on Rande's side concerning this issue because I like the thread the way it is. As the thread leader he may appear to be somewhat harsh at times, but I think it's necessary to remaining on topic. Similarly, I believe the only solution to the spamming you've pointed out is to ignore it entirely.

JMHO,
Dave
