I think AOL will do just fine. The FCC is going to look at the AT&T/MediaOne deal REEEEEAL close. One of their concerns when AT&T bought TCI was that cable was closed to ISP's. I think that IF the deal goes through that cable will be opened to the ISP's - not for free, but opened, and maybe not at the same time or a condition of, but eventually AOL and other ISP's will gain access. And when they do, maybe AOL does that $400 thing(?)

This is JMO, I don't consider myself that knowledgeable in this area so I would like to hear what Tim and the other more knowledgeable contributors to this outstanding thread have to say??????
