Abdol,
absolutely correct! stop buy order becomes a market order once the stock hits the target price. No guarantee that u will get that exact price but i have come to find that most of the time u get your price. Only in a fast market or pre-market activity will there be a real possibility that your set price will not hit exactly. An example is if u set the stop buy before the market opens and somthing happens to drive the price up over your buy stop, u will get the opening price or something close to it. U need to be carful when using these.

Part2. For the combo, u would place a stop buy, all or none. This would protect you from paying more than your intended price. This might, however, stop u from getting the stock all together. Again, U need to be careful.

Good luck
