I would direct you to read the SI documentation on them if only there were any!

They seem to be "associate" threads, but in which posts are made to a serial bulletin board rather than back to another poster. As a result, they are more static - the micron board has some 45,000+ posts on the thread, but only 65 in the Clubhouse.

Here is the Micron Clubhouse for example - people tend to use it as a place to copy predictions on Micron - either their own or others - later they can refer to the stupidity of a particular prediction more easily (there is a permanent fight going on the thread between forever bears and forever bulls).
