I hate sitcoms, except for The Simpsons. I really identify with all of the Simpsons, at different times I feel just like Marge, just like Bart, just like Lisa, or even just like Homer. I think they are the realest thing I have ever seen on TV. I have tried to watch Seinfeld, I think I saw part of two episodes. The kids sometimes watch Home Improvement, and I will sit down for a few minutes, and laugh at something funny, but I don't stay for the whole thing. I probably have caught more of various sitcoms than I realize, because I generally read the paper in the living room, where the big-screen TV is. So I may catch part of some of the ones the kids watch, but other than the ones I mentioned, there are a couple with all black casts but I don't know the names. I know one of them has a guy who is really geeky. I have seen about 5 minutes of a dozen or so of those. Just don't appeal to me. |
