Kevin, that is a very confused issue. The way I see it, they are selling gold to buy paper, to keep the fiat money game alive. Maybe we really are in a new era, and paper, with really no backing, is the new basis for value? (doubtful over the long term)
Anyway, you can't fight them. This will spark more c/b sales most likely. We have a war to pay for you know! And of course the "police" force to keep order there for the next 600 years....
The UK has 40% in USD, 40% in Euros, which is down big from their par issuance, and 20% in yen.
It all makes little sense to me, kind of like selling the crown jewels, but like I said, maybe this is a new era. I am not smart enough to figure it out, I just pick stocks<GBG>
What is your take??
And a question, one I posed a long time ago on another thread,
>what is the most profitable business enterprise in the world??< |
