Paul - " Mark Christensen, vice president and general manager of Intel's Network Communications Group, said the company hopes to grow this business by 30 percent a year.

Intel's $2.2 billion acquisition of Level One will give it a head start on that target. Level One is a leading supplier of of T1/E1, xDSL, and related LAN/WAN chips."

I like the sound of this. With certain folks all worried about "less than 30% growth" in it's traditional MPU business, this ought to help the overall bottom line, if Intel can pull it off.

My friend over in NPG is still all gung-ho on this business. They mood inside is very optimistic that Intel can be a "one stop shop", like Feabus was quoted as saying in the article.

Good news Paul!!
