My thought at that time was a sell at the close, but selling at the opening would not have been a greater loss <g>.
ABOV is an excellent company. Options are available for trading on Monday. Besides general market forces, I believe there were other forces keeping, literally, ABOV from going up. It may have been tied to the option trading that will begin and the strike prices that were set in advance. One may never know.
For daytraders, ABOV will always be on the watchlist. News can send this soaring. Though I'm a daytrader, as part of the Yeehaw thread, I want my participation to be short term trades for nondaytraders. My previous personal picks went great: EGGS at 4 1/2 ran and kept running, ENDO at 2 1/32 ran to 6 1/2, KIDE at 10 ran to 35, KERA at 10 ran to 18, GUMM at 10 1/2 ran to 15, SKYM at 4 3/4 ran to 48 days later. ABOV, good intentions but didn't work out for this week, those owning it at the 90 entry after the split will break even at $45. It could easily hit that price next week.
I am looking for a short term pick - owning a position for several weeks with good potential gains. I'll let you know.
