I like Marcus Aurelius. Can't remember if I ever read Epictetus. I adore Plutarch. Haven't read Russell in years. I can see you as a stoic, harder to see you as a humanist. I mean, I think you are kind to humans, but sort of the way that (some) other humans are kind to animals. Like being unkind is infra dig.
