who is the sixth?

combing the last two years of 13G/13D filings, amended or
otherwise, yields the following AAPL shareholder ranking, for
shares in millions.

mellon 8.8
putnam 7.3
barclays 7.2
alwaleed 6.2
fidelity 5.4

although changes don't require reporting after the first amendment
to under 5% holdings, other sources indicate that janus holds
>2M and soros holds 1.5M. because of delays, it's hard to track
horsetrading, but the slack of fidelity coming down from 17M in
october to <6M was certainly taken up by the top three.

there must be a better source for a "top ten" list.
apple was not forthcoming at the annual meeting, claiming
that their shareholder's list was "proprietary", despite other
companies having a printout accessible at similar gatherings.
