Ground Zero: OT I object, been there done that....so I have a right to object. I have NO ill will toward the soldiers, just the worthless leadership, this country has chosen, using this situation to garner political gain. When medals of honor or given away so cheaply, it diminishes the accomplishments of others rightfully given the medals, period. Let honor be bestowed on those solders that "actually" display bravery. As you know, many soldiers, airmen and sailors have put themselves at much greater risk by actually fighting and have never received any recognition. Let all that “deserve” the medals receive them. And, “it” was a shame what the VietVets went through as they returned, but much has been done since to try and recognize their contributions. The true forgotten soles have been the Korean Vets.
