Never does Jesus or anyone in scripture say he was "GOD THE SON. Eight times Jehovah is spoken of as the GOD Jesus Christ: John 20:17, 2 Cor 1:3, Eph 1:3 Rev 3:12 [4 times] Psalm 89:26
Jesus speaks of himself as "son of man" 77 times, as foretold at Daniel 7:13. Could Jehovah so describe himself? If Jesus is God, as some say, why did He need an escort of angels to meet Himself in this passage?
So DLL, the Scriptures answer for me: Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God, our King, my personal saviour whose blood shed at Calvary [Skull Place] bought a world of mankind from sin. Next he comes to judge the Earth. As said the old, exiled John the Beloved: AMEN, COME LORD JESUS!
