Gadzoox Networks, Inc. Files For Initial Public Offering
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1999--Gadzoox Networks, Inc. a provider of SAN (storage area networking) products, today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. All shares of the offering are being sold by Gadzoox.
Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation will act as the lead underwriter of the offering. Other underwriters of the offering include Hambrecht & Quist LLC and Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes. When available, a copy of the preliminary prospectus may be obtained from the offices of Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation, 11 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10010-3629. Gadzoox has applied to have its common stock listed for quotation on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol "ZOOX."
A registration statement on Form S-1 relating to the common stock has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
