Dr. El- Turabi : Oil for war is a ridicolous disinformation Al-Rayaam, Thursday May 6th The Speaker of the National Assembly, Dr. Hassan Abdallah El- Turabi described today a statement that "oil revenue shall be used in manufacturing weapons" attributed to him in an artcile published by AFP on May 3rd, as a cheap and ridiculous attempt of disinformation that falls in the hostile campaign against the Sudan. Dr. El- Turabi asserted that the oil revenue is for construction and development. This came in an interview with the Al- Rayaam on the ongoing dialogue and contacts with the opposition, regional and international forces to establish a comprehensive reconciliation and a peaceful settlement to the conflict in the Sudan. sudan.net
