We actually tried growing some of those Egyptian onions one time. I forget which catalogue we ordered them from though. Didn't do well here. They greened up nice but never really set a bulb. Sort of a white mass of roots something like scallions. We were expecting a small bulb sort of like a pearl onion. We used them like green onions though, so they didn't go to waste. Must be getting close to planting season up there...
