VaxGen is approximately two years ahead of any other aids vaccine currently being developed. It's AIDSVAX Trial Plan is FDA approved for Phase 3 clinical trials and testing has begun throughout the USA.

The S-1 Registration statement was filed on 5/7/99 and is currently not effective. The intended IPO date is yet to be announced.
