What are you saying, Hutch, that a rise in gold will CAUSE the US markets to collapse, that gold cannot rise with the markets stable or rising too, that the markets cannot fall if gold holds or falls at the same time?

Funny, diversification didn't used to be such a dirty word. Uncorrelated and negative correlation investment vehicles used to be considered a smart thing to engage in.

What will the FOMC bring: raise, raise bias, hold, lower bias, lower? I'm guessing a raise bias. How would this affect the markets? How would this affect gold?
