Nelson, I know it sounds old fashioned, but it's still a great deduction. Find a charity you think is actually valuable (low overhead, useful project) and donate some money. You can wait until the end of the year. Remember, if you include state taxes, then you're probably getting back .48 of every dollar you give away. Marc
