Hi Bill:
I don't really know if the die is cast for inflation..I think it has been rampant but not in wage inflation..wage inflation is the only thing that counts..I could easily be wrong..
The problem seems to be in our trade deficit and lack of savings from individuals.. computers have made it easier and easier to have people doing the work of two..or three..with all the mergers..more well paid jobs are being eliminated..
lower paying jobs won't spur wage inflation..
shouldn't we be looking at possibly the world on the brink of something else..if more layoffs come with fed tightening..how many US consumers will be left to help the rest of the world recover?
Do you have any friends who follow closely Japanese economy? Until
it starts recovering..are we close to the end?
I am wondering if US government is in a fix..if they print money faster and faster..that could cause a dollar collapse faster and faster? and then couldn't that even be more dangerous..
Of course I am just guessing..
I would still love to know if the US government is buying the gold coming to the market? Maybe Rubin is a fox?
hopefully Hutch will come along and rip this one apart
