Sometimes I wonder if I'm typical or unusual in my belief that folks who do use force or commit fraud should be punished harshly. There is no room in my model for probation, and parole would be granted only in the most extraordinary of circumstances. Perhaps an inmate who saved a guards life might be considered. One of the benefits I see to the Libertarian system is that it wouldn't use resources punishing silly things like drug offenses, and therefore those would be available to give those who deserve it their due.
