Hi PW,

Have you looked at Drive Image by PowerQuest? Wouldn't require you to reload Windows to restore your backup set.

And yes, it can span accross multiple zip disks

All you would do is boot to a system floppy DI makes when it's installed. Restoration is painless.

It might not be feasible to restore using real DOS based programs though, because if the Windows installation was done on a FAT32 drive, DOS won't be able to see it, and might not be able to restore the partition table correctly.
