Give them credit for seeing a niche and getting out in front of the curve.

All those medium and small billers is a virtually untapped market. And a huge one at that. There are many thousands of potential users of EBPP. On one side, they have no chance to get CF's attention. On the other side many of them operate on a very thin margin and they need to get EBPP ASAP. Some of them realized it, the rest will be up for rude awakening within a year. If BLLS gets it right, they can make tons of money.

I was looking at buying some BLLS, but was spooked away from the very beginning by their obsession to compete with CF. One of BLLS' "big wigs" called recently to end up with CF "hegemony" or something like that. Now the last statement that BLLS is using CF technology only temporarily, until they develop a home-grown one.
Sounds kind of childish. EDS and FDC gave up on home development and chose CF. Does BLLS have more money or time ahead than FDC and EDS? We know the answer.
IMHO, their best bet is to waste no time on inventing the wheel and capitalize on the access to CF might ASAP.

I didn't read about BLLS alot and may very well be wrong in my perception. Please keep us posted on BLLS as IMHO if they get their acts right, BLLS may become even more pure EBPP play that CF.
