Seafood Acquisition. On Oct. 22, 1998, Janus International Inc.
(Marina Del Rey, CA) announced the acquisition of Triumph Food International
Ltd., an integrated seafood harvester, processor, and marketer who, in
association with its Mexican co-op, holds an exclusive trap-fishing license
for waters off the Baja Peninsula and Strait of California. Expansion of Triumph
operations is said to include relocation of a fleet of 10 vessels from Canada
and construction of a processing plant in Port of Penasco, Mexico. [Janus
