I saw the Yippie page, and would have thought it was funny if it were not so sad-but-true. Yesterday I was listening to the radio, one station plays nothing but stock analysts and such all day long (they pay to get on and then have commercials.) A couple of guys I have listened to before, and liked, were saying that the internet sector was shaking down to only a few success stories, and leaving the rest in the dust; AOL had better improve its "performance" or be left in the dust by such internet companies as ATHM. I realized by "performance" they meant, not increase in sales or in revenue, but increase in stock price. And to think that I had been considering letting them handle some of my money!
