It was mentioned earlier about two-way cable modem access being the only way available. Well, in my area, it isn't available yet and won't be for another 4 years. I am currently set up with a one-way cable modem. Log on via phone lines and receive via cable. I am currently being charged $29.95/month for a one-way. Our cable modem has increased the speed of receiving, but the usual happens at the peak hours on the heaviest sites. They are slower, significantly slower.
