The network computer may bottom line turn out to Intel's advantage, no matter whose CPU chip is used. If bazillions of these things get sold and end up sucking down on the Internet, much much much more powerful servers will be required to handle all the traffic (assuming the Ciscos of the world get the networks speeded up also). Well, Intel is positioning themselves very well to sell a lot of powerful servers based on anywhere from one to N Pentium Pros, running Windows NT, of course. Intel is kind of like a rubber raft. If you push down on one part, another part pops up.
