thanks, and i hope so. the strategy hasnt failed me yet. my only regret is that during the last drawdown i sold the puts too soon at around 8.

whats really confusing the hell out of me right now are the inets. absolutely oversold, with most showing formations that indicate huge moves to the upside. this is one of those times when you can buy without fear...as long as the bond doesnt sell off completely. i dont think anyone has really looked at how far rates would have to go to attract investors from equities into bonds. still, even if that were to happen, there would be so much buying pressure that it would drive rates down. so its kind of a catch 22.
