yes, many times, he's excellent even when poorly interviewed by particularly Internet clueless CNBC reporters who shall go unnamed.
I haven't had many, many conversations, just a few where we discussed our opinions. As far as leadership qualities, probably not. As far as a valuable opinion, that I believe he has.
If he did indeed lie on this thread, then my opinion would have to be revaluated. I haven't seen any proof and did not see the cnbc interview. Form the ones I have seen in the past, I have noticed that he does say things which I for one, realize he is joking about.
The caliber of Russell or Alan? I was not even considering that, just his different views. So now you've got me rethinking it. And Josef's comment too. Guess that's why SI is so cool. You can change someone's opinion too. And I have been too busy to read his column lately - so I will do it now.
Kiss up to him? I don't kiss up to anyone. Whatever for? I own part of this company and have for almost a year - my biggest stock holding in fact.
OK everyone, I like Fleckenstein's opinion but you are right - not what we need on the board the board. Maybe Just as Consulting Bear, ok?
Guess maybe I should have stayed out of this after all, my opinion gets me in trouble occasionally :) Susan
