Look at it this way... May help you understand...

You have three cars...
You are paying insurance on all them...
All three are taking up room in/out of your garage...
All three require normal maintenance costs...

Once upon a time, you used all of them at one time or another for a good purpose.

As time went by, you found yourself not using one of them like you used to and it was just taking up space & costing money without getting anything from it.

You decide to sell one of the three cars.

You get CASH in the bank.
You save on the insurance, storage space, & other costs.
You come out ahead.

NOW, if you really HAD to SELL something to raise cash in order to pay bills, you still came out ahead didn't you?

Maybe another way to say it is "efficiency"...
A penny saved, is a penny earned... Same effect...

Did this help?

This is the way I look at it... Anyone have another view?
