Ice... so it is the real deal. I am terribly sorry to hear that. It just so happens I did work on the consumer credit report rewrite mandated by congress in 1992 (lead architect - worst job in my life) and you are protected with your credit by law. You need to contact TRW and equifax and dispute all claims under a "section 8" (or something - its the fraud one, section something). This will put a stop to almost everything immediately because this person could be applying for new cards in your name. Once this flag is on your account, he can be charged with a felony and if they are as sophisticated as it seems they will notice this and move on to another victim. I've heard about stuff like this and it is scary to think it really happens. Was it one credit card or many? If just one, its probably still not a pro.
