Well in 1994 Apple had all kinds of interesting board members, the chief of NPR was one I recall... basically a who's who of people that know nothing about technology. They also owned no stock and let the awful management plow ahead directionless because nobody knew what was going on. Had they held stock, I'll bet things would have been different. If Rosen had owned no shares in Cpq do you think he would have fired Pheiffer? Imo stock ownership is key to anybody making decisions at a corporate level (I'm talking about everybody not just board members)

(again just a general comment not about Gnet board)
