I'll add that if Embassy truly is and has been in production, that the big name box makers already have their hands on some samples. It takes at least 6 months of internal testing and integration before any OEM will offer the product on a single SKU.
I would wager that Dell, Compaq, Gateway, Micron and Apple are well aware of Wave and are testing, or awaiting testing, of production Embassy chips. If they're not, then Wave should be looking for some new salespeople. This thing should sell itself!
If tests are successful, I would then expect to see a few Embassy-enabled consumer and corporate models be announced shortly afterwards. After that, it will depend on market acceptance.
Problem is, its hard to determine the timing of all this with everyone being hush-hush. We don't know for sure if anyone has production chips in their hands or when they'll get them. It could be that a Embassy USB "keychain" is announced long before the OEMs get off the pot. Where IBM fits into all this is still a mystery!?!
In any case, OEMs MUST be in the loop somewhere. If they're not, its time to start up our own "Free PC" shop and start giving these puppies away. Speaking of FreePC, tell me why they and others similar wouldn't be *really* interested in Embassy?
