Well here we go. This is my first attempt at contributing to a thread. I am lead to believe there is a block of stock overhanging the market. This is being addressed. I suggest this represents a buying opportunity. The just announced (3/6/97) MDSI news release re: Denmark's national Telco probably represents CND$4-5 million in revenue. I would sugggest that this is predominantly the sale of software as opposed to hardware and is quite a significant contract. You might recall the AT&T (US $10m) contract (12-9-96)was for software. What is of great interest is that the gestation period for the Danish contract was in the neighborhood of 90 days, about one quarter of the time historically required to close. And furthermore, is only one of more than 30 Telco quotes, currently in backlog. What is going on here? See FORTUNE, issue 3/3/97, pp. 169, "When Change Is Total, Exciting - and Scary."
