Gold is more attractive in high inflation periods. Now we have low inflation, strong stock market, and strong US dollar, certainly not in the best interest of gold bugs in the US.

If Mr. Greenspan keeps interest rate low, I think we'll have low inflation and strong stock market.

The US dollar index is 2% above the 200 day MA. If US dollar drops 4% then gold will move up in terms of US dollars.
