Hey, daytrading isn't bad. That's how I make my living - keeping certain core positions in for the long term and making decent profits from all those 1/4ths and occasional (VERY OCCASIONAL) multiple point gains whenever they occur.

I agree that to short PQT right now is incredibly dangerous unless it's a day trade when it's clear the market value is declining on a given day - as it has several times the past few weeks. But I would never want to hold a short position in this company overnight. It's a company that I believe is past any bad news events. Each day brings no news at all (the price can go down for day trading with a new short position on such days) or each day can bring good news before the open - but never, never bad news as we occasionally experienced in the past.

Right now PQT is an investment position and not a day trading one. This is a recent purchase (I took my profits a few weeks ago when it reached its new high) and got back in this past Thursday, reinvesting the proceeds from the earlier sale to acquire more shares than I sold.

I just don't agree with others here that the price is going to descend to 7. I compliment them on their research and their interpretation of the charts - but I think there are matters at play here which override what the charts seem to be forecasting to this group of investors. I wish them well if they are backing their forecasts with a short position. I hope they are wrong in view of my own long position.
