Camino Shipment Date would be the largest ( and maybe last) piece in the puzzle

Samsung can produce the chips. Intel has the roadmap on the desktop rollout for the rest of the year. Despite the usual FUD about the fact that the PIII isn't necessary to run today's applications, and that faster machines are not worth the price differential, many individuals and businesses want the power and will pay for it. If even conservative RDRAM shipment estimates are met for the rest of this year, earnings estimates for April could go up 8 to 10 cents/sh. Of course, that is only the beginning since shipments in 2000 will be six to eight times 1999 shipments as product use broadens and fabs hit their stride in production.

My only question to those "in the know" is: based on past practice, when will Intel make the announcement, assuming all is on track, as we have been led to believe? May? June? or later?
