I can certainly understand your wanting to share your work in a known forum. I hope no one need fear criticism here, though. I want this to be a place where people can share their poetry and ideas with no worries about hostile comments. I hope we can all value the effort it takes to create even if we do not enthusiastically embrace every poem posted here. I don't mind criticism either but I've been to open readings where some audience members got out of line, and were just plain cruel. I wouldn't want to see anything like that happen here. Just an easy going place to share ideas about poetry- that is what I would like this thread to be. Alexa
