Borb , I am not sure either, but what I was trying to say
(and should have said more clearly at the beginning) was that since of Oct of last year, the Nikkei has followed the DOW although there is still little bit to cheer about in Japan. THe Nikkei 225 is made up of the largest blue chips on the first section of the Tokyo stock exchange and a large proportion of those companies derive substantial revenues from the USA. ANy slow down there and they are hurting since their domestic sales are still anemic. That in itself is reason for concern, but I believe the Nikkei has gotten ahead of itself (short term , long term there is still too much to speculate about) and I feel pretty confident it will pull back. In the event of a major drop in the DOW (isnt that a fair possibility?) the Nikkei would just go through the floor...

IMHO
