Was that receiver Reeves cut McAffrey? That guy is great!!! I wish he were on the Seahawks. He and Sharpe are the twin terrors of the league, especially with Rod Smith thrown in for good measure.

I like the Seahawks' corps with the addition of the guy from New Orleans (name escapes me at the moment). They also drafted a receiver who may or may not pan out.

It looks like Mike Pritchard may be gone this year and McKnight will get another chance.

Anyway, that guy from the Saints ... now I remember... Sean Dawkins... he's 6'4" and 215 lbs. Those sort of dimensions are becoming prototypical around the league (McCaffrey, Terrell Owens, etc.)

I think every team needs a big receiver.

The Seahawks appear to have done nothing but improve in the off-season. In years past I would have questioned some of the front office's moves, but this year there are no complaints. It appears that, from top to bottom in the draft, they "reached" for the potentially great player with every pick. Each one is somewhat of a project, with great potential for payoff. I think Holmgren could make at least 2 or 3 out of the 7 picks stars. The Seahawks also signed 16 players after the draft, including an intriguing DL from Wazzu.

Another interesting development is that all-world LB Darren Smith took a pay cut to make way for the signing of other players. This is the "take a pay cut to get a championship" mentality that I've watched with envy on teams like the 49ers over the years. Now they're taking pay cuts to play in Seattle!!
