Congratulations on your 10%. My concern isn't whether one opens a position short or long, just wading through "the real" versus "the hype".

Translation, is someone shorting a stock and then hyping it down on the message boards for simple financial gain, under the guise of sharing noteworthy insights or well-balanced due diligence. If it is the first, then just declare your $$ motivations. It's not that hard, or asking too much. Otherwise we all have to take one anothers' remarks with some suspicion. The message boards were designed for people to share and openly discuss ideas with one another, not a venue to manipulate the "less" than scrupulous. If posters' intentions are to manipulate others, why not break into someone else's home and take their worldly possessions from them openly- at least it wouldn't be behind the veil of internet secrecy.

Mama, I do not question your motives, you declared your financial interests right up front (long or short isn't the issue). Majority of your posts are balanced, and refreshing with humor. I just wish I could say the same for some of your "short" brethren.
