I really liked your post. A long time ago someone suggested
that DSWL become a US or canadian company (I think NTAI had
offices in Vancouver for awhile). Advantages--decrease perceived
risk, disadvantages--principally tax rate.

Right now there are alot of US companies with manufacturing in
unstable regions (including mainland china). Why aren't these
companies discounted? I guess my point is that we are dealing
with perceived risk based on limited information and that the perceived risk does not correlate with the true political risk.
Almost like we have insider information that the public at large
is not incorporating into its valuation. Question is--will they ever?

Before China took over HK last year, the average PE was 12. DSWL
was an HK company I believe. Hopefully we will see those PE's again
