Here's an article I wrote on the general philosophy of trading. I use a moving average, ADX, volume and read candlesticks, along with some simple trend lines and it does the job fine and dandy. I use mostly the Linda Raschke's Holy Grail techniques to enter on a retracement in a trend and Trader Vics 1-2-3 technique to watch for changes in trend. Also use multiple time frames, with the 5M as the main time frame. Article is at intelligentspeculator.com and specific techniques are in the FAQ section, with much more stuff coming this week.
