I have wireless cable in New Orleans, BellSouth Entertainment. It offers a superior picture to cable at a slightly cheaper price. The main disadvantage is that BellSouth has only built one antenna so far. And if a tall building or tree is in between your house and the tower then there's no reception. I have a friend who got it during the winter, but when an intervening tree grew leaves in the spring the reception ended. I guess BellSouth is waiting for demand to pick up before building more towers.
And occasionally the picture gets garbled, but only for seconds at a time.
It's nice to know this could provide me with another broadband access.
