NATO's bombing of the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia may send a temporary shiver through the stock price. If things move beyond name-calling over the incident then we may see "perceived risk" turn into real risk.

I am long DSWL and I am not trying to predict panic over the incident. I will wait to see how it plays out and if others panic on the perceived risk I will likely scoop up their shares.

The incident reminds me of the time Reagan bombed Libya. Our pilots had to fly nine hours out of their way because France would not allow us to use their air space (for fear of reprisals). We hit all of our targets but "accidently" bombed the French embassy in Libya. A comedian summed it up by saying, "Sorry France, but maybe our pilots' aim would have been better if they had gotten more sleep!"
