a non reportable license asset

should never be quantified by a CFO.
I'm in the telecommunications business.
we buy broadcast frequency rights in
public auctions, and they are not worth
a dime more then we paid for them until
their are implimented or leveraged in a
deal. We know that one license we own
in particular, cost us $4mil but will
allow us to create a $150mil asset once
we are finished with it's implimentation.
Banks will be lending use over $100mil
because they know this to be true. But
to our shareholders, this is now a $4
asset, and $100mil liability, and not
a $150mil asset in our share value. If
David really thought he had something
of value, he's demonstrated complete
incompetance in leveraging that potential.
